Purdue University officials said they expect to begin budget cuts very soon after Friday's announcement that Gov. Mitch Daniels will reduce public college and university funding by $150 million. Purdue President France Córdova said it is no surprise that Daniels is pulling back appropriations in light of lower-than-forecast state revenues. "This is now. We are not talking about the next biennium" she said. "We have to find where to make this happen now."
