A College Ends Political Science - Scott Jaschik, Inside Higher Ed

Wisconsin Lutheran College not only was forced to lay off 18 employees, but the three million dollar budget shortfall also resulted in the closing the the Political Science Department. The cuts were made by the president and cabinet, then approved by the board of the college. Of those being laid off, five are faculty members, including the only two faculty members in the Political Science Department.
