It's the time of year when many seniors await acceptence letters from colleges. But the economic downturn has many seniors doing the rejecting, telling expensive universities they simply cannot afford to attend. The economy has more and more students finding their options limited; many are turning to financial aid. Experts say the number of students who filled out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid skyrocketed this year.
