University of Iowa sees grad school enrollment applications drop - Associated Press

The University of Iowa is seeing a drop in applicants to the school's graduate programs. Graduate College Dean John Keller says applications are down about 8 percent from last year. He blames the numbers on a perception that it will be tough to secure loans. Others say people just don't want to take on any more debt during the economic downturn.
