UNH fiscal woes require broad salary freezes - Foster's Daily Democrat

The sinking feeling in the economy is being reflected in planning and other thoughts at the University of New Hampshire. UNH has implemented a salary freeze on non-union employees making more than $40,000 a year and negotiations are continuing with the unions. A tuition increase is in the wind and preliminary registrations show possible enrollment matching last year's record numbers.
