University of Toledo employees forewarned about layoffs at all campuses - Toledo Blade

The University of Toledo plans to announce layoffs next week, President Lloyd Jacobs said in a letter sent to university employees Friday. The letter included no specifics, and no details will be released until next week, spokesman Tobin Klinger said, adding, "We've been saying for months that we'll have layoffs." The layoffs will affect all of UT's campuses, Dr. Jacobs wrote: "We will have to say good-bye to friends and colleagues who have helped improve the human condition in academics, health care, and other areas of university engagement.
