OSU prepares for tough decisions - Monique Headley, Stillwater News Press

Like an emergency preparedness drill, Oklahoma State University is reviewing options in case of a flat or decreased operating budget for fiscal year 2009-10. Ultimately, the legislature and state Board of Regents will determine what, if any, budget changes may be required of the university, said Joe Weaver, OSU associate vice president of administration and finance. “The numbers are up in the air,” he said. “We’ve talked about different scenarios but every state is dealing with revenue shortfalls.”
