Florida State University will cut programs and personnel to deal with $56 million in funding reductions, according to a proposal released Friday. Florida State's budget-reduction plan will be presented to the university's Board of Trustees on Wednesday, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. "I think we need to point the finger of blame where it properly belongs, which is the Legislature," Florida business professor Jack Fiorito told the newspaper. "I'm not sure there's been enough faculty input in this process. But the administration was faced with tough decisions and I understand that."
