Wichita State University cuts $9 million from its budget - Associated Press

Wichita State University will have 5 percent fewer classes and 80 fewer employees as it cuts $9 million from its budget. President Donald Beggs outlined the budget cuts in an interview last week. The school was able to cut positions with few layoffs. Vacant positions and about 30 seasonal jobs involving grounds maintenance and enrollment were left unfilled.
