Tough economic times are taking their toll on West Virginia University's enrollment. Associate Vice President for Enrollment Brenda Thompson says for the first time in a decade the university's enrollment will be less than the previous year. “We could see a few less students enrolled than we did last fall,” Thompson told Metronews affiliate WAJR-AM in Morgantown. “The economic downturn has certainly had an impact on enrollment all across the country and we’re certainly not an exception to that.”
