The state budget cuts could affect college students depending on financial aid - Megan Reuther, WHO TV

College students could feel the pinch from the across the board state budget cuts. Students getting financial help from the state may have to scramble to come up with more money to pay for next semester's tuition.College Junior Kami Wenzel thought she had her Drake University tuition covered for the year. She says, "Most of us, especially going to a private school, I depend on that money as a way to afford this."She may have to find another way to pay part of her tuition next semester. Iowa College Student Aid Commission Spokesperson Brenda Easter says, "Anytime you have changes midstream, like this, it's always kind of troubling."
