Indiana State U. May Cut 100 Jobs to Trim Budget - The Associated Press

Indiana State University's president says the college will eliminate 80 to 100 jobs as a result of state budget cuts. President Dan Bradley says in a letter to the Terre Haute campus this week that decisions on which jobs will be cut are expected to be made early in April. He says all non-teaching positions are under review as ISU needs to cut about $5 million from its budget. Bradley says any teaching vacancies will be short term and no academic programs will be eliminated. He says part of the reduction is expected to come through incentives the school intends to offer for early retirement.
