Sacramento State building deal goes from boon to bust - Laurel Rosenhall, Sacramento Bee

California State University, Sacramento, is spending $5.7 million this year to lease the former CalSTRS building on Folsom Boulevard – 188,000 square feet of vacant cubicles, dusty conference rooms and lightly used office furniture – from a private nonprofit group closely affiliated with the school. The university is coping with a state budget crisis that has led to canceled classes, pay cuts for employees and increased fees for students.
