Budget cuts delay construction - Christy O'keefe, the Dartmouth

In the face of College President Jim Yong Kim’s recently-announced budget cuts, the Office of Residential Life will seek to be more efficient in spending and will likely postpone renovation of certain residence halls, according to Dean of Residential Life Marty Redman. The recent restructuring in the Dean of the College Office will not affect the current plan, however, Redman said in an e-mail to The Dartmouth. College administrators have also decided to eliminate the position of director of the Office of Planning, Design and Construction, according to OPDC director Steve Campbell.
