UM staff, students consider pros, cons of 4-day work week proposal - CHELSI MOY, Missoulian

The possibility of a four-day work week stirred commotion - and emotion - on the University of Montana campus Tuesday, one day after President George Dennison announced ways the university may respond to predicted shortfalls in state and federal revenue. There's considerable concern among faculty about the shortened work week, but it's not universal, said Doug Coffin, vice president of the University Faculty Association, who termed the proposals "Draconian."
