The Ball State University Board of Trustees has approved more than $15 million in budget reductions that will occur over the next 15 months. Approximately $7.8 million will be saved through changes in employee benefits, with the rest coming from improved energy conservation, better print management practices and other efficiencies. The university also increased some student fees. The actions are the result of a reduction in state funding.
