Pennsylvania state budget cuts private college funds - Louis Finley, the Triangle

Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell proposed to raise funding for education in his recent budget address. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the budget increase calls for $355 million in the "state's main subsidy for public schools." The omission of state-aided private schools in the 2010-11 budget presentation leads to the loss of all funding for Drexel and other private institutions.
