Fast Feed: Committee approves tuition increase - Wendy Miller, ASU Herald

The University Planning Committee approved a purposed four percent tuition increase for the 2011 fiscal year at their meeting on Wednesday. If the tuition increase is accepted by the Board of Trustees in May, it will be imposed in July and will generate an estimated $1.3 million at ASUJ. It is reported that Ed Kramers, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, said the 2011 budget will count on salary savings and one-time funding along with 100 percent of the Revenue Stabilization Act Category A funding and 40 percent of Category B funding from the state.
