Oxnard College students protest state budget cuts - Jean Cowden Moore, Ventura County Star

Hundreds of Oxnard College students are telling local legislators they’re not happy with state budget cuts that have led to fewer classes and services on campus. On Wednesday, student government leaders organized a protest, asking classmates, professors and administrators to sign petitions, register to vote and call local leaders objecting to the cuts. They’re also sending letters to local representatives.
