Budget update from ISU President Al Bowman - Bloomington Pantagraph

First, an update on our present financial condition. As of today, Illinois State has received approximately $49 million of our $85.1 million FY2010 state appropriation, leaving about $36.1 million which we have yet to receive. We have been assured by the Governor's office that all public universities will receive their full FY2010 appropriation, although it may not be until well into FY2011. By comparison, we did not receive our final payment from the state for F2009 until last September.
