Lawmakers Again Cut University Of Hawaii Budget - Andrew Pereira, KHON2

University of Hawaii President MRC Greenwood says students at all ten campuses may see larger classes and tuition increases for the foreseeable future after state lawmakers cut an additional $7.3 million from the operating budget.
“We're going to have to adjust programs, not renew some contracts probably and undoubtedly we will end up with larger classes,” said Greenwood. “Anytime you have an additional budget cut when you've already lost 21% of your budget, it's going to have an impact."
