No more budget cuts on horizon for UWG - Rachel Lane, Times-Georgian

Three days after the University of West Georgia informed students of a $300 tuition increase, administrators said no additional budget changes would be necessary.“These days, if you don’t have to cut, it’s good news,” said Rob Douthit, director of media relations at UWG.He said the decision to raise tuition was made by the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents, not by the university. That increase will take effect in the fall.
