Teachers at the college of Haringey, Enfield and North East London are holding a one-day strike today. The industrial action from the University and College Union (UCU) was prompted by Government cuts which has put courses for adult learners and staff jobs at risk. In Tottenham, the cuts equate to 27 job losses and nearly half of the places on its non-accredited English as a Second Language (Esol) will be lost.
