California State University students will see their fees go up 5 percent this fall – and could see them jump again in the middle of the school year depending on the outcome of state budget negotiations in the Legislature. In voting Friday to raise fees by 5 percent, CSU trustees rejected Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's budget proposal and instead placed their bets with Assembly Democrats.
