Regents approve ISU budget - James Pusey, Ames Tribune

The Iowa Board of Regents approved the 2011 budgets for Iowa State University, the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa at its meeting Wednesday in Vinton. ISU’s operating budget totals $173 million, $3.2 million less than the previous year’s operating budget. The university has seen reductions totaling $18.8 million over the last year and has partially made up for that shortfall through a tuition increase of 6 percent for residents and 4.1 percent for nonresident undergraduates.
