Tuition for students attending SUNY Ulster in the fall will increase by $100 per semester if the budget as proposed is adopted by the county legislature. That will bring tuition to $3,820 per year. The spending plan was presented to the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services Committee Tuesday. The $28.5 million budget increases by $362,000 over last year’s, but would include no increase to the county’s $6.3 million contribution, said Committee Chairman Wayne Harris.
