Arizona’s major universities and community colleges have taken a deep financial hit during the economic downturn. Phoenix Business Journal editorial interns Molly Kissler and Sarah Macdonald looked at the fiscal 2005 budgets of the three state-run universities and the Maricopa County Community College District, and compared them with fiscal 2009 to see how they are coping with state budget cuts.
