If the Cayuga County Legislature approves Cayuga Community College’s 2010-2011 budget later this month as the Ways and Means Committee changed it Monday, the college will not get a 1 percent increase in the county’s contribution. The Ways and Means Committee voted to cut the 1 percent jump from last year’s budget requested by CCC and to give the school $28,415 less. The proposed $30 million budget initially requested $2.87 million from the county and includes an overall increase in spending of 2.82 percent.
