Budget Concerns Continue to Challenge UVA - NBC 29 WVIR

There are some budget concerns at the University of Virginia. Sullivan says one of the biggest challenges for the university is securing funding. Sullivan said UVA is seriously under funded when compared to similar state schools. The general assembly has slashed $50 million from the university's budget during the most recent spending cycle.
