Ridiculous. Immoral. Disgusting. That was how a proposed $36 million cut to state aid for community college was described Wednesday on the steps of the Capitol by dozens of Three Rivers Community College students. “They’re looking in the wrong places to fill tax gaps,” said Crystal Foss, a Montville resident who worries she won’t be able to afford the final class she needs to graduate if deep reductions are made to Connecticut’s community college system. “It’s a huge realization that I might not be able to go back to school any more.”
