A&M University Approves 2012 Budget, Clarifies Accreditation Inquiries - David Wood WHNT News 19

AAMU's board of trustees Friday voted to approve the fiscal year 2012 budget. That budget included an expected tuition increase and a reduction in jobs. Tuition for the upcoming academic year will go up nine percent, while 52 jobs will be cut from the university payroll.The university says that is due to repeated reductions in state funding. The jobs cut affect 33 employees, while the other 18 positions were vacant and will not be filled
