JCC board approves $23.7 million budget that cuts positions, raises tuition - JAMIE MUNKS, Watertown Times

Jefferson Community College tuition is rising nearly 5 percent and the vice president for community engagement position has been cut in the 2011-12 budget, a $23.7 million spending plan the board of trustees approved Wednesday. “It was tough on campus as it always is. The fact that we retrenched positions again is very difficult,” college President Carole A. McCoy said.
