Fifteen instructors at Clatsop Community College received layoff notices last week as the school tries to close a $1 million revenue gap by June. The criminal justice program was shuttered and other programs were modified. Some faculty will be offered adjunct work, if available, at about one-third of regular pay. The school will save about $311,000 from the layoffs.
