California Community College Budget Cut Documentary Premieres Online - the Crisis Begins

Community colleges are in dire straights in California after losing large support from the California legislature and Governor Brown, causing schools to make crippling budget cuts. Demonstrated in the online Documentary Mini Series MJC: The Crisis Begins is one such case in which Northern California Central Valley school Modesto Junior College chooses to eliminate whole programs and lay off tenured instructors in addition to massive staff and part time job cuts in a rush to fill an 8 million dollar expected deficit in 2012.
