Students attending Georgia’s technical colleges will pay 13 percent more in tuition next semester as system officials react to state funding cuts. Tuition will go from $75 per credit hour to $85 per credit hour. Students who take a full 15-credit course load will pay $1,275 in January — a $150 increase over what the pay now. Higher costs won’t stop there. Students will also pay a new $50 institutional fee. Those who take online classes will pay another $50 fee starting in fall 2013.
