Coshocton administrator among layoffs at COTC - Coshocton Tribune
A significant decline in enrollment has affected Central Ohio Technical College's Coshocton and Pataskala campuses. In an effort to save money, administrator positions at both campuses will be eliminated. Melanie Bolender has served as director of the Coshocton Campus since September 2009. Almost two months after announcing reductions in staffing and spending, Central Ohio Technical College announced another round of cuts Monday to make up for a $3.75 million shortfall. The two-year technical school isn't the only Ohio community college making budget cuts to stay fiscally secure.
