Southeastern Ohio community college students protest cuts due to budget shortfall - THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Students at a southeastern Ohio community college have taken to the streets to protest upcoming employee layoffs at the school. About 40 students in Hocking College's Public Safety Services program stood in front of the college's administrative building Monday chanting "No more cuts!" The Logan Daily News (http://bit.ly/Waa9r1) reports the students were especially upset about the firing of the popular dean of their academic program. http://www.therepublic.com/view/story/b8696cdb35964aa1b9e525dae39f3cd2/OH--Community-College-Cuts-Rally
