University of Maryland ranks low in financial aid, according to recent report - Laura Blasey, the Diamondback
Despite efforts to improve transparency and clarity in the process of helping students afford tuition, this university may sport one of the worst financial aid records in the country, according to a recent report. This university’s financial aid program is the third worst in the country, according to the Princeton Review, one of the largest sources for college data. The rankings, which the company released at the end of August, are based on school reported data including “the percentage of students who were determined to have need and received aid, the percentage of need met for those students, and the percentage of students whose need was fully met,” according to the Princeton Review website.
