Purdue board backs PUC budget cuts; tuition freeze at main campus - Associated Press
Purdue University trustees have approved a tentative budget that includes about a 2.5 percent budget cut at Purdue Universtiy Calumet in Hammond and a tuition freeze at the main campus in West Lafayette. Spending will be cut at the Fort Wayne campus as well. Trustees on Friday approved the $1.2 billion system-wide plan. School officials say the board’s executive committee will vote May 22 on the tuition rates after a public hearing.
