Regents hear from students, faculty on budget - Kate Clark, University of Washington Daily

Numerous emotional stories were told at Tuesday afternoon’s Board of Regents budget meeting in the HUB lyceum. Regents at the meeting included Herb Simon, Kristianne Blake, Joanne Harrell, and Chris Jordan. Students, professors, and other members of the UW community encouraged minimal tuition increases and asked the board to go to Olympia to request increased funding.
