Budget cuts will be 'devastating,' KU officials say - Wichita Business Journal

The Kansas Legislature approved on Sunday a budget plan that would cut post-secondary institutions by $66 million over the next two years. The Lawrence Journal-World reports the plan imposes a 1.5 percent across-the-board cut each year for two years and also adds a cap on salary expenses. University of Kansas leaders are among those who say the cuts will be harmful.
