Capilano University’s 2013-14 budget: Down to the wire - Vancouver Sun

Capilano University is still gathering ideas about how to balance next year’s budget without the drastic cuts that were proposed last month. The university’s board of governors delayed a vote on the 2013-14 budget until June 11 to give the school community four weeks to suggest alternatives. The administration is wrestling with a $1.3-million shortfall. The Senate budget advisory committee is collecting input and has scheduled a meeting for June 10 (changed from June 4) for a full discussion before the final vote. http://blogs.vancouversun.com/2013/06/03/capilano-universitys-2013-14-budget-down-to-the-wire/
