Declining enrollment will hit UNI budget - JON ERICSON, WCF Courier

William Ruud's first order of business at the University of Northern Iowa will involve filling the dorms and classrooms, all the more important as tuition revenue declines. The new UNI president attended his first Iowa Board of Regents meeting Wednesday at a time when the university presented projections that show student numbers continue to drop. Enrollment projections at UNI show an expected decline of 473 students, to 11,800. On top of that, it marks a decline of 1,050 from projections for last year. http://wcfcourier.com/news/local/govt-and-politics/declining-enrollment-will-hit-uni-budget/article_40a3878c-ce0a-11e2-92f9-001a4bcf887a.html
