While the BC Liberals are busy touting a balanced budget with savings for homeowners and people with small children, NDP opposition members are saying cuts to education are going to drastically affect a province that is already seeing a shortage of skilled workers. The 2014/15 budget freezes funding for the Kindergarten to 12 system for the next three years, and reduces the university and college budget.
