Faculty cut at Felician College due to lower enrollment - MEGHAN GRANT, North Jersey

Felician College confirmed it doesn't intend to renew the contracts of more than a dozen faculty members, with the school citing dropping enrollment as the reason behind the downsizing. A private Catholic college with campuses in Rutherford and Lodi, Felician College was founded by the Felician Sisters in 1923. In late January, 16 faculty members were notified via letter that their contracts would not be renewed once they expire in June, Vice President of Institutional Advancement Dr. William Back said. The college is down to about 2,000 students, a decrease since its peak of 2,400 in 2010. http://www.northjersey.com/news/248779391_Faculty_cut_at_Felician_College_due_to_lower_enrollment.html
