LOYOLA STUDENTS PROTEST BUDGET CUTS - Stacy Coco, NOLO Defender

Loyola students from the theater, sociology, and psychology departments rallied around the Danna Student Center today to protest budget cuts being throughout the university. Due to the cuts, the university has seen 18 staff laid off. In April, contracts will not be renewed for 12 non-tenured faculty members. Some have voluntarily left on severance pay.
