A University of Nebraska-Lincoln advisory panel that rejected $4.65 million in proposed budget cuts last week has reconsidered after a long talk with Chancellor Harvey Perlman. The Academic Planning Committee voted Wednesday to support the budget cuts, which include cutting the university raise pool. But the vote came with a caveat: that Perlman consider a piece of the committee’s advice in doling out the cuts.
