Bryan College budget cuts include layoffs - Herald News

Citing a need to cut costs due to lower enrollment next year, yet at the same time making sure the college fulfills its mission of “educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world,” President Stephen Livesay reluctantly announced that Bryan College will take several significant actions, including layoffs, for the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2014. “These are very difficult steps to take particularly when we know that good people who have done excellent work for Bryan and its students are being adversely impacted by the restructuring of our operations.” said Livesay. http://www.rheaheraldnews.com/news/article_37e07b3a-e83c-11e3-b03f-001a4bcf887a.html
