'Ivory Tower' educates about college crisis - Claudia Puig, USA TODAY

Ivory Tower, an unsettling and fascinating documentary about higher education, hits theaters as many students are celebrating their graduations — from high school and college. The timing can hardly be coincidental. Tower (*** out of four; rated PG-13, opens Friday in select cities) details a crisis in post-secondary education and questions the value of a university diploma. Student loan debt is now up to a record $1 trillion and the documentary suggests that students are getting less from universities, which are charging them more than ever. Tuition has gone up 1,120% since 1978, the largest increase in any U.S. good or service, according to the film. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2014/06/12/the-ivory-tower-review/9649179/
