During Monday’s budget workshop, Temple College board of trustees directed administrators to look for ways to raise enough money to add to the school’s advising staff, increase the pay of those who have, over the years, taken on additional roles without any added compensation, and cover the costs that the increase in health insurance will take out of the TC employees paycheck in the next fiscal year. “Student success is very much dependent on the regular advising the student gets,” said Trustee Bob Browder. “If our success is based on students finishing and they need more nurturing in the process, we have to seriously look at adding more advisers.” http://www.tdtnews.com/news/article_85a569a4-115c-11e4-bb27-001a4bcf6878.html
